Brief Description: A comprehensive look at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) Marine Minerals Program and some of the ongoing initiatives to improve Federal OCS sediment resource management. Topics will include discussion on the Bureaus increasing involvement in coastal restoration partnerships and investment in a Gulfwide Sediment inventory, a preview of the Marine Minerals Information System ( MMIS), and highlights of BOEM funded on-going science being used to inform management decisions.
A seat and food are guaranteed to the first 35 people who sign-up. I will close registration once we hit our limit. If registration is closed you are welcome to attend with the understanding that you may not have food or a seat!
