Given the uncertainties of travel related to the coronovirus pandemic, the American Shore & Beach Preservation Association has made the difficult decision to move its 2020 National Coastal Conference, October 13- 16, 2020, to a “virtual,” online-only conference platform.
The 2020 National Coastal “Virtual” Conference will still occur over October 13-16, 2020. The format will change somewhat, but will accommodate time zones from East coast to West Coast. The Conference will still provide opportunities to present your research, see presentations and posters, hear from plenary speakers, and even network and interact online with other participants. Sadly, beach volleyball will have to be cancelled (although we do hope to have some online socializing!).
The deadline for submitting abstracts (originally scheduled for May 1) will get pushed back to June, with an updated “Call for Abstracts” being issued shortly. More information on pricing, sponsorships and logistics will also be coming soon.
