Information for Coastal Summit Presenters
Thank you for speaking at ASBPA’s Virtual 2022 Coastal Summit: Future of Coastal Infrastructure Investments. We are excited for you to share your knowledge with us! Below is information on what and how to submit various items which allow us to showcase you and your organization.
Head Shots
We are asking that each speaker provide a 200 by 200 pixel head shot image for display on the online program. The image can be .jpg or .png and should be named LastNameFirstName, for example if you are submitting a .jpg image for John Smith it should be named SmithJohn.jpg. Please upload the images by March 14, 2022 to the upload folder.
Speaker Bios
Each speaker should provide a 100 word bio to be included with their head shot in the online program and Zoom chat. Bios exceeding the word limit will be edited by staff. Please include your bio with your head shot in the upload folder by March 14, 2022.
Live Presentations
As a live presenter you will be expected to share your screen and run your own presentation in the Zoom platform. Please check the strength of your WiFi. If you do not have a hard-wired Ethernet connection, check your upload speed. You can click here to go to Speedtest.net. Click go and a diagnostic will run on your computer. A minimum WiFi strength of 5 Mbps upload is required, but 10 Mbps is preferred. A backup of your presentation slides may also be sent to annie.mercer@asbpa.org no later than 10am Eastern day of, in case of technical difficulties.
Recorded Presentations (Keynotes)
If you prefer to pre-record your presentation to ensure your timing is within the bounds or due to a scheduling conflict please provide an MP4 video file. Upload the presentation to the upload folder for staff to retrieve and process. The deadline to submit pre-recorded presentations is March 21, 2022.
Technical Assistance
If you have any questions about the Zoom platform, recording a presentation, or how the summit will be run please reach out to Annie Mercer. We will be offering more resources online as we get closer to the conference.
Staff will be holding Office Hours March 7, 11, 14, and 18 to answer questions, test presentations, etc. Times and access links will be posted on the conferences webpage under “For Presenters”.
