Since 1984, APTIM, including legacy firm Coastal Planning & Engineering, Inc., has provided professional coastal and marine engineering, hydrographic and geophysical surveys, and environmental services to our clients. We have approximately 5,800 employees nationwide over 80 locations across North America. APTIM staff have designed and permitted more than 100 beach and dune nourishment projects and over 45 coastal structure projects for private, municipal, state, and federal clients throughout Florida, the Gulf coast, the Atlantic seaboard, and the world. APTIM has designed hundreds of offshore borrow areas, identifying hundreds of millions of cubic yards of beach compatible material for use in restoration projects. We have designed and managed construction for coastal erosion control projects in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, and California. We have also provided a variety of services for international clients in Brazil, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, and Italy.
