The Shore & Beach Journal’s dedicated issue on Critical Coastal Infrastructure has just been published and is now available to our members! You will find articles on “Adapting wastewater treatment plants to sea level rise: A case study of Half Moon Bay, California,” by Brittney Cozzolino; “Beach nourishment provides resilient protection for critical coastal infrastructure,” by James R. Houston; “Discreet working waterfronts are a lifeline for Maine fishermen,” by Monique Coombs; “Disposable or readily relocatable infrastructure to aid managed coastal retreat,” by Angus D. Gordon; “Resilient edges – holistic coastal protection and lessons learned,” by Ian McRae and Jim Remlin; and “Sea level rise planning for resilient coastal infrastructure in California’s coastal zone,” by Mary Matella.

Thanks to the Shore & Beach editorial staff – Lesley Ewing, Beth Sciaudone, and Ken Gooderham – the editorial board and this issue’s authors, for your work to expand the knowledge base of coastal science to influence coastal policy in protecting our nation’s coasts.
