We have a few registration scholarships available for students (thanks to our sponsors). The scholarship pays for the student’s registration fee. Students, please apply by stating your financial need and answering the following question: “What’s one thing from your studies or field work that you hope to discuss with a coastal professional at the conference?” Please send your submission to kgarvey@moffattnichol.com. Applications for the first round of scholarships are due by Thursday, November 9th; those awardees will be notified by Friday, November 10th. Applications for a second round of scholarships are due by Friday, November 17th and those awardees will be notified by Monday, November 20th.
The H2O conference serves as a catalyst for collaboration across various fields, industries, institutions, and organizations united by their shared interests in topics related to water, oceans, coastal environments, sediment management, resilience, and the intersections between terrestrial and marine systems. Through a dynamic blend of panel discussions, presentations, and collaborative working groups, conference attendees will not only identify emerging challenges but also foster a solutions-oriented mindset in these critical domains.
This event will shine a spotlight on impactful projects and scholarly contributions, bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and actionable policy decisions. Beyond providing a platform for the exchange of best practices, H2O will actively engage a diverse array of leaders and knowledge facilitators. The conference will also offer ample networking opportunities to forge meaningful connections among these stakeholders.
Abstract submissions are now closed. The conference will cover an array of topics, including, but not limited to:
