2024 Coastal Summit: A Record-Breaking Success in ASBPA History!

With a maxed-out venue capacity and an unprecedented number of sponsors, the 2024 Coastal Summit made ASBPA history, highlighting its value as an important event for amplifying the unified voice of coastal communities on Capitol Hill.

Following a magnificent peak bloom of the cherry blossom trees, the Coastal Summit brought over 110 stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to Washington, D.C. to address pressing challenges facing U.S. coasts.  We advocated for the implementation of science-based policies to promote sustainability and resilience in coastal systems.

We were thrilled to honor Congressman Garret Graves (not pictured), Eric Bush, Ashley Chappell, and Haddon Antonucci for their work supporting coastal advocacy.
