Tim Kana, PhD, PG is founder of Coastal Science & Engineering (CSE) and Adjunct Professor of Geology at the University of South Carolina (1981–2009). Dr. Kana is an internationally recognized expert in coastal and estuarine processes, and has written over 300 publications and technical reports. Dr. Kana is a recipient of ASBPA’s prestigious MPO award in 2015 showcasing his many achievements during his over 40 year career in coastal preservation and long time support of ASBPA and our mission.
