Tiffany Roberts Briggs, Ph.D. is Chair & Associate Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Florida Atlantic University. She has expertise in coastal geology, sedimentology and geomorphology. Her research embraces an interdisciplinary approach to addressing issues in coastal and marine science, such as storm impact and recovery, coastal restoration, beach habitat, and microplastics in sediments. She is currently serving as ASBPA Vice President for Science & Technology, Co-Executive Editor of Shore & Beach, and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Coastal Research and Estuarine, Coastal and Shelf Science.
Nicole Elko is Executive Director of the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association and host of the Shaping Shores podcast.
